Databar supplied many systems to Schools, Libraries, Government and Quasi Government Departments and Businesses both large and small. The face of electronic equipment manufacturing in Australia has change significantly since then as the world manufacturing centres of Taiwan and China have become the main powerhouses for electronic manufacturing. In the mid '90s Databar began an alliance with Zebex (of Taiwan) through the Absolutely Group P/L in Melbourne (Master distributor for Zebex in Australia) Databar was acquired by Absolutely Group in July 2001, This has allowed Databar to extend its range of products and services beyond the barcode market. We now have a wide range of CCD Scanners to choose from as well as Presentation Scanners, portable data collectors, label printers as well as Labelling, RF and Database Software applications.
