Customizable Tracking Databases

Four Tracking Databases – the User Database, Item Database, Location Database and Transaction Database – are the key to BACKTRACK's flexible tracking capabilities. With BACKTRACK you can easily transfer or manipulate data via the keyboard or using a portable data terminal. In addition, the ability to import/export popular data formats allows you to share BACKTRACK data with your existing business applications.

Label Designer

BACKTRACK intergrates with TEKLYNX' industry-proven barcode label design software packages* to enable building labels unique to your business or application. Labels can be designed and configured to print your data however you would like so that you can print tracking barcodes, shipping labels, or any other type of label your business demands.

Report Designer

The powerful Report Designer provides unlimited reporting capabilities. BACKTRACK's Report Designer allows you to create and print custom reports that meet your specific tracking needs.

Device Support

 Does BACKTRACK support Windows CE and Mobile-based devices? - Yes. BACKTRACK supports devices running Pocket PC 2002, Pocket PC 2003, Pocket PC 2003 SE, Windows Mobile 5.0, and also dos-based PDTs. 

How is BACKTRACK licensed? - BACKTRACK is licensed per workstation and per mobile device. A single-user copy includes one workstation and one mobile device license. Additional licenses are available.

What label designers does BACKTRACK support? - BACKTRACK supports LABEL MATRIX*, LABELVIEW*, and CODESOFT* for label design activities.

Does BACKTRACK include label design software? - No. Standard version of BACKTRACK has no label design software however you can order one of the following editions of the label design software: CODESOFT Enterprise, LABEL MATRIX Power Pro, or LABELVIEW Gold at the time of purchase.

Is BACKTRACK an inventory management system? - BACKTRACK is a complete solution when purchased with a label designer. It includes desktop interface, mobile collection interface and report designer. Inventory management is just one of the solutions BACKTRACK makes possible.

What are depreciation calculations and can BACKTRACK perform them? - Depreciation calculations are used in asset management to reduce the value of certain assets as they become older. BACKTRACK has advanced math calculation capabilities than can be leveraged to accomplish this calculation within reports, mobile applications, and desktop PC applications.
